I noticed they made kirk a white wimp too. On purpose. Its all propaganda broadcasting to white males everywhere. Especially when all the women are mary sues.
There is a MASSIVE “modern” trend in sci fi novels.
Main characters are female.
Many books start out with what a female character is doing.
All female characters are kickass, and hey are invariably the best shot, and the best fighters, and the smartest, and the most brilliant, and the best pilots in the galaxy.
And for some damn reason they are frequently named “Ellie,” or similar.
Men, on the other hand, are infantile, impulsive, violent, stupid, and testosteronic and need to be guided by the female.
