For a while I thought the same as you with respect to Trump polling over 50 percent (such as the Rass Poll showing approval at 51 percent).
The election day polls showed Trump getting around 44 percent approval overall and it definitely showed up in the Congressional seat totals.
Therefore, I fully believe his overall polling is around 44 percent and no better.
You might not like that but that is how the overall population who votes feels right now.
I think Trump has a lot going for him on the policy front but he needs to continue to punch back in a more professional way. He is learning but there are times where he still falls back and says stuff where he really should not.
Just my thoughts.
Trump could fight back in the most polite way possible AND the media would still bash EVERY DAMN WORD!!! Doesn’t make a damn bit of difference one way or the other SO let Trump beTrump his base loves him just the way he is!!!
