A stoppage of legislation does little. The investigations will go nowhere as all congressional ones do. They can bitch and moan but it gives Trump the ability to run against Pelosi and the far left. This was nothing compared to what Obama and Clnton faced in their midterm and will not have much effect at all on the 2020 race.
I wouldn’t bet on that. Will there be anymore money for the wall NO. Funding for Military? NO Budget? NO..
The wall is a casualty of this for sure. Senate won’t allow cuts to military. Though. They’ll just pile on New Democrat spending to buy off the house. I didn’t say this is good, but it’s not all bad. I’d liked to have seen a smaller majority so we had a shot at flipping it back in 2020. It will be tough to do in a presidential election year barring major overreach like 2009.
