Good points, but realistically none of the “red” states will do this. Most couldn’t get it passed by nominally Republican legislatures anyway.
Taking the pulse of the country it’s kind of a now-or-never concept, I’m afraid.
By the way, when did the legislators stop working for us at the state level? Has the swamp swallowed them up, too???
