"But like her mother, Dorothy, if she gets knocked down seven times, she will get up eight.” If I got knocked down 7 times, I think I would only get up 7 times. I'm not sure why you'd get up 8 times. Maybe Dorothy fell on her own a lot like her daughter, or maybe they are talking about voting.
