A major schism of the United Methodist Church would surprise no one

Activists within the United Methodist Church (UMC), America’s second largest Protestant denomination, are using the tactics of the American political Left to leverage a major change in their church.

Those tactics include using: (A.) labels as propaganda; (B.) protest demonstrations as theatre; and, (C.) escalating defiance to test boundaries.

Meh....it’s a blessing in disguise. It forces the real Christians to stand up for their faith, this the sheep are separated from the goats.

When is a “church” not a church? When it forsakes God’s Word and “leans to its own understanding.”

You mean the same United Methodist Church that ordained a lesbian pastor, who is now a Bishop?

Name one thing the perverted deviant brain cancer of the LGBTQXYZ vermin do which does not damage civilization.

Notice with all those letters representing INCLUSION, not a single one is for “Straight”, aka normal people without such mental defects.

The true goal of legalizing same-sex marriage was to either Force churches to abandon Christian doctrine, or portray those churches who refused to do so as houses of hate and bigotry.

I would be very curious to see statistics on exactly what percentage of the population are actually having same-sex marriages. I’ll bet it’s less than 1% of the total population. This all about subverting judeo Christian belief, and promoting bisexuality in future generations of children..... all of it aimed at the larger population, with gay and lesbian couples used as Pawns in order to tug at the Heartstrings of the average person.

I did. I tried to reform it when I learned part of our offering plate money went to abortion lobbyists. But when it was clear they weren’t going to abandon Moloch, I took my money and my volunteer hours to a church that worships only Jesus.

20 years?! Heck, I left the Methodist Church when I was 13, as soon as my parents decided I could find my own church to attend, and that would have been in 1967. Even then there was something strange ...

The conservative, bible-believing Methodists have an easy solution - join with a Wesleyan organization which still believes the teachings promoted by John Wesley. Why is the wicked UMC their only choice?

When was it that women were admitted to the ordained leadership in the UMC? Even that was well beyond their corruption point.

I believe that the Methodist Church has been “ordaining” women since the mid- to late-1700s. But I think that the date that you’re referring to was in the 1950s ... 1955 or 1956, I believe.

Splits usually come long after the initial, fatal attack on a denomination. Moral capital is often deep in long-established ecclesiastical groups, and even though the administrative center at the top level goes heretical, a lot of grassroots members are not on board without a lot of re-education and prodding.

Even after the ECA allowed females to be “ordained” into the ministry, many diocese refused to do so. The one in Fort Worth held out until they finally split away.

The infiltration into Protestant and Anabaptist congregations largely started through so-called music ministries: Directors and choristers were not held to the same spiritual standard as table waiters of Acts of the Apostles 7 (not even close).

That was the Camel’s Nose under the Tent Flap in the 1980s: Get yourself entrenched in a church function, cultivate sympathizers on The sly, execute a coup d’etat, publicly declare yourselves, castigate opponents as bigots. The rest is heretical history.

Yep. Frankfurt School.

Most seminaries now are Marxist heresy factories.
