the major problem with liberalism

The major problem with liberalism is that it isn't the least bit liberal. It is a rebottling of the old and stale vintage of early 20th century progressivism, which was inspired through the French labor unions by the Marxists, calling for suppressing of individual rights in favor of individual economic equality - e.g. redistribution of goods.

Once you realize that American progressivism was a rebellion against the American revolution you understand everything that is wrong with the leftists today. The reason that it is pushed by mob violence today is that it was always pushed by mob violence. That's what progressivists do.

Not was. Is. Progressives were and are all about destroying the Constitution and limited government.

America is all about keeping a stable, limited government.

“The major problem with liberalism is that it isn’t the least bit liberal.”

There’s nothing liberal about the liberalism of the left. They’re totalitarian statists, they’re the exact opposite of classical liberals.
