"The US Chamber of Commerce is out with a new six-figure ad meant to back newly appointed Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss) in her fall bid for re-election, which will pit her in a tight race against State Sen. Chris McDaniel (R) among other opponents.

The early effort is indicative of the Republican establishment's push to rally around Hyde-Smith, who was appointed by Gov. Phil Bryant (r) to fill Sen. Thad Cochran's (R) vacant seat."

"The Hill"-4/13/2018

"'Let's get every America First Conservative out to the rally in support of President Trump,' the McDaniel email reads,"Show the President that Trump Country is McDaniel Country'.

Hyde-Smith's campaign wasn't pleased."

"YallPolitics"-9/26/2018

There's an open primary Special Election on November 6th for a US Senate seat with a contest between a conservative candidate who was smeared by the Establishment in 2014 and a GOP Senator appointed by the Establishment and heavily backed by the US Chamber of Commerce ("Cheap Labor Express").

But today (October 2nd) President Trump will stump for the insider candidate Cindy Hyde-Smith over Chris "Remember Mississippi" McDaniel. McDaniel was smeared as a "racist" in the primary runoff of 2014 by the Republican Establishment when they shoved Thad Cochran down the throat of Mississippi.

Cochran left and Hyde-Smith (was her name once Jekyll-Smith?) was appointed by Governor Phil Bryant. "Hyde-Smith" was a lifelong Democrat who supported Hillary Clinton before her recent switch to the GOP.

As President Trump comes to Southaven, Mississippi today Chris McDaniel Chris McDaniel is urging his supporters to show up at the rally. A rally intended to anoint a candidate backed by those who oppose President Trump's policies and were among his most steadfast opponents in 2016.

McDaniel's camapign came out with a special endorsement yesterday to make its point that the candidate most like President Trump is Chris McDaniel.

Kendall Prewett was a Regional Coordinator and Campaign Committee Member for Donald Trump in 2016.

Prewett said:

"After working closely with President Trump on his campaign in 2016, I've concluded that, out of all the candidates in this special election, Chris McDaniel's the most aligned with Donald Trump. Donald Trump ran his 2016 campaign as an outside against the establishment, and that's exactly the kind of man Chris McDaniel is. He doesn't answer to anybody but the people of Mississippi.

Donald Trump is the greatest President in the history of the United States, and Chris McDaniel is going to fight for his agenda harder than anyone else in this race..."

The top two candidates in this "Open Primary Special Election" on November 6th move on to a runoff three weeks later on November 27th. Democrat Mike Espy, former Agriculture Secretary and Congressman, is also in the race.

it’s annoying when people in one state think they’re qualified to tell people in another state how to vote and who to vote for, and to generally tell them what is good for them.

but.trump.endorsed.Hyde-Smith.

you people are about to **** up another red state senate seat. did you learn nothing in alabama?

RINO’s aren’t going to change things in this country for the better.

I voted for Trump to really change things and guys like Mitt Romney in Utah and that lobbyist Strange in Alabama and this candidate in Mississippi, “Hyde-Smith”, will do nothing to really change things like build a wall on the southern border.

McDaniel is the real deal.

turning red states blue is actually worse than whatever imaginary terrors you think “rinos” are going to do. want an example? screwy jeff flake’s vote wouldn’t be as nearly as critical as it is right now if people like you had not turned alabama blue. period. end of sentence.

The RINO’s destroyed Roy Moore and hung him out to dry when the “sexual assault” allegations surfaced. They gave that seat to the Democrats.

If they vote Kavanaugh in it will reveal them to be hypocrites.

Moore needed defense in his time of need and the GOP didn’t give anything and President Trump was only perfunctory in his endorsement without the more vigorous comments in defense of Kavanaugh.

If I understand correctly, the US CoC is effectively a foreign money laundering scheme for influencing US elections.

Strange is a corrupt swamp creature who, as AG of Alabama, made a deal with the corrupt governor who was facing impeachment. The deal was to back off in exchange for the appointment to Sessions' Senate seat. The governor was driven out of office anyway, and Strange is back again in DC as a lobbyist.

Hopefully, a better candidate will be there to beat Jones in 2020. It should be a much easier environment with the anticipated Trump landslide.

Trump needs to take a better look at some of the people he endorses.

Yes, unquestionably Moore ran a lousy campaign, and he didn’t handle the bimbo eruptions well. Arguably, the best option was Mo Brooks, but the GO-Pee wanted Big Luther to stay in office. Trump should have endorsed Brooks in the primary, IMHO.
