Anti-Kavanaugh media and Hollywood bias explodes in a bad week for America
Fox News ^ | September 30, 2018 | Dan Gainor

Posted on 09/30/2018 1:39:26 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh was targeted for demonization in a disgusting display of media malpractice this past week, as he was depicted in almost every disparaging way possible in coverage of uncorroborated sexual misconduct allegations against him.

Comments in the media about the judge included: “MIGHT Be A Serial Rapist,” “drunk,” “aggressive,” “mean” and “probably guilty.” And Kavanaugh was compared to convicted sex offender Bill Cosby.

Journalists didn’t just set the narrative, they marketed it, using similar phrasings to emphasize how the audience was supposed to think in negative terms about the conservative judge nominated by President Trump. This exposed the allegiance of much of the media to the left and Democrats.

While Kavanaugh was the chief victim of this blatant media bias, America and the American people will suffer long-term.

CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin accused Kavanaugh of having gone “all Trump Republican” to appease supporters – the greatest sin in the liberal universe.

If Kavanaugh is confirmed by the Senate and seated on the nation’s highest court, millions of women are “just going to feel annihilated inside” we were told by ABC.

It wasn’t just the attacks, it was the group-think involved, making sure viewers and readers were hateful toward the nominee and Republicans. Note the similar themes in describing the judge, who serves on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia:

● “An aggressive and mean drunk,” (Sunny Hostin on “The View”); “Angry drunk” (Joy Behar on “The View”) “unusually drunk” (New York Times).

● “Roared with anger, unjudicious raw anger“ (Terry Moran, ABC); “belligerent” (MSNBC’s “Hardball” host Chris Matthews); “unhinged” (CNN political commentator Symone Sanders); “unsettling temperament” (New York Times editorial).

● “Attempted rapist” (Craig Calcaterra, NBC Sports); “Kinda like a rapist would be!” (DL Hughley, entertainer)....

Sen Grassley asks FBI to probe apparent false allegations against Kavanaugh
The Hill ^ | 9-29-18 | ARIS FOLLEY FR Posted on 9/30/2018, 4:04:40 AM by kingattax

The Senate Judiciary Committee referred apparent false statements made to committee investigators alleging misconduct by Judge Brett Kavanaugh for criminal investigation on Saturday.

Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Chris Wray seeking to have “materially false statements” made to the Committee as part of its investigation of allegations against Kavanaugh referred for criminal investigation.

In the letter, Grassley discussed the Committee’s investigation into various allegations made against Kavanaugh, which he noted “has involved communicating with numerous individuals claiming to have relevant information.” (Excerpt) Read more at thehill.com ...

Americans also demand an investigation of the activities at the Kav hearing of the notorious race-baiter Sheila Jackson Lee.
She had no reason to be there----but she flaunted herself and showboated around in a manner that was very offensive.

<><> she pointedly handed the Ford lawyers an envelope in full view of the cameras.

<><> later she was seen sitting in an end seat, in the gallery of Kav's supporters, directly behind him as he testified.

What was she doing there? And why?

Prayers for Kavanaugh and family. His wife asks that we pray psalm 40 over their family and then for America.

Psalm 40. Just read it. It certainly covers all they are enduring. Will pass that on to others who are praying for them.

NBC is Comcast.

And all you Comcast subscribers that refuse to speak up aren’t helping.

Perhaps it is time for the old media to just go away. Let them
go bankrupt, they will be replaced by new media outlets. We don’t need them. Stop watching the dying media.

If I had a forum where I could speak to our fellow citizens today, this is what I would say...I implore all who have watched this unbelievably, vicious, week unfold, to join me in intercessory prayer on this beautiful Sunday morning. At the moment, I am fasting because of the evil which surrounds us. If you think of the most dangerous enemies that we fear from around this world, none, and I mean NONE, can compare to the domestic enemies we face today, in the media, first, and then, in this government. I ask you, fellow Americans, of all races and people, immigrants, good Democrats, Independents and others, to stand against the murderous and destructive powers which have shown themselves this week. Civilization? What is that? We have learned that it does not exist in the Revolution unfolding and, if not confronted in and through every person alive in America who wants to live in a secure nation, we will see total mob rule, genocide, and horrific suffering. We have read of this before in the 1930s in Germany. Today, that suffering and destruction has been unleashed against Judge Kavanaugh and his family. Tomorrow, it could be you and I and our families. Are you read to suffer? Can you withstand the kind of suffering the Judge, Ashley, their parents and those little girls are going through? I doubt that I could. I have borrowed a prayer from Psalm 109 to pray on behalf of the Kavanaugh’s. I hope you will join me. “O God, whom I praise, do not remain silent, for wicked and deceitful men (and women) have opened their mouths against me; they have spoken against me with lying tongues; with words of hatred they surround me; they attack me without cause; they accuse me; they repay me evil for good and hatred for my friendship. Help me, O, Lord, my God. Save me in accordance with Your love; Let them know that it is your hand, that you, O, Lord, have done it; They may curse, but you will bless; when they attack they will be put to shame; but your servant will rejoice.” Amen. May our God, the creator of all in this Universe, bring peace and comfort to the Kavanaugh’s and may the good men and women in our government stand strong against this cruelty. May the light shine on the darkness and may joy come in the morning as the truth becomes too powerful to ignore.

I totally agree. Unfortunately,we have Weimar republicans and even Quislings in the party. Many elected republicans still try to work with these scumbags!

That “I’m afraid to fly” crap when she was IN DELAWARE is going to come back and bite her in the ass. That plus her attorney’s bisbarment and prosecution will BTFO Ford and Heather Sawyer (the hand up Feinstein’s butt) and both may end up in prison.

Think about it. She and her lawyers LIED to Grassley. Did you see him reading his opening statement on THursday? He could hardly hold the paper much less read it he was so pissed off. Grassley does not seem to me to be the kind of person that is just going to let that happen. It was a crime in and of itself and I wouldn’t want a guy with his very real power pissed off at me. If I were in his position i would not take lightly what the Rats pulled over the last week. Especially that staged theater Flake tried to pull. My guess is Grassley is the kind of guy to get a quiet revenge.

Last Friday the Wilmington (DE) News Journal, Gannett's local outlet, showed its total slavish endorsement of ultra-liberal politics by giving the state's U. S. Sen. Chris Coons (D) more than half its total front page, rejoicing in his claim to have turned Sen. Jeff Flake away from solid commitment to Kavanaugh to a "let's wait and see" dithering.

To me, the article was sickening in that Coons' prejudicial comments indicated that without question Judge Kavanaugh's disposition is what Blasey-Ford claimed it to be, and capitalized on this theme of Coons' instrumentality in converting Sen. Flake's stance.

Coons was also given front page status again the next day, repeating and justifying his determination to delay and if possible negate the appointment of Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. The News Journal gave no space to any balancing defense for the Judge.

On the other hand, one notices the lack of any comments on this issue from incumbent Sen. Tom Carper (D) that might negatively affect his own campaign for reelection this November.

The Gannett/News Journal seems to me to be culpable of generally abandoning journalistic impartiality, as seen in this anti-Kavanaugh instance of using it in an over-the-top enhancement of a local socialistic liberal's reputation.

Coons and Flake were at some ‘Global citizen conference’ yesterday. Kasich is going up somewhere around there to talk about the future of the Republican party this coming week.

I think we’re seeing the discussion of a breakaway party for both sides.

I’d love to see a political commercial that has a group of colonists burning a witch. And then the narrator says, “If you believe in the presumption of innocence, Vote a Republican ...”

Love it when Kavanaugh and the GOP point out how the Dems politicized the process - and so the Dems start screaming and say the GOP is "politicizing" this, simply for pointing this out. LOL

You can't make this stuff up -- it's kind of the opposite of ANOTHER problem the Rats have had, of when they re-report an substantiated claim made about BK and call their parroting of the claim another "confirmation." LOL
