I think it might be an omen of how the midterms could turn out if the biggest black celebrity is supporting Trump. No wonder it drove them out of their minds. Imagine the entire Motown lineup marching onto Laff-In and endorsing Nixon in 1968. Or Michael Jackson endorsing Poppy Bush in 1992.
Remember what they did to poor Sammy Davis, Jr. for endorsing Nixon in 1972, at the height of the radicalization of the Black community. They wanted to revoke his “Black” card.
