It’s ironic how the liberals say how Trump and Republicans are fascist and totalitarian. Whereas we see it’s the liberals who have a strong totalitarian streak in their activities.
People need to start being arrested for terroristic threats, conspiracies, etc. related to these situations. IMHO

I don’t blame him for leaving, especially since he was with his wife, but by doing so - Cruz let them win.
If he had just sat there, let them drone on, the restaurant would have had to deal with it. They would have had to call the cops, and they would have had to sacrifice their other patrons. “Society” would have had to deal with this disruption, and the effect of this crazy behavior would have been magnified.
By leaving, Cruz took that responsibility upon himself. Wrong choice.
Since the authorities won’t do anything, maybe it’s time for some internet sleuths to find these people, pass on their location to the right people, and see these antifas get a solid beatdown when they’re not clustered with 200 of their buddies?
Trump recently proposed an executive order that would examine/address monopolistic practices by social media companies. They should classify them as common carriers which would make such online threats a federal crime.
Sounds like a threat to me. IF the fbi isn’t too busy looking for Kavanaugh accusers, maybe they could look into this.
This group of “protesters” seems to have found a unique balance of childish petulance and fascist arrogance with which to conduct its self marginalizing, political idiocy. May they reap what they sow.
