Once again Joy is perfectly wrong. Kavanaugh has lived a remarkable life of personal achievement and strong, lasting relationships with many women of all ages. In all that time there has never been any instance of the kind of behavior that he has been accused of by this one woman. It is much more probable that he didn’t do what he was accused of than that he did. Her extraordinary charges require extraordinary supporting evidence to outweigh the testimony of his entire life. Her story is based on repressed memory therapy which has largely been discredited by leading analysts and researchers. This is a ridiculous miscarriage of justice and must be defeated or the rule of law and the protection of the constitution is rendered moot.

The big problem seems to be all the concern about Brett Kavanaugh’s morality. What about the morality of Sonia Sotomayor & Elena Kagan? Plenty of questions there I’m thinking, but who will ask them?

Ms. Behar needs to familiarize herself with accepted legal theory that has existed in the West for over 1000 years, as in the English Common Law.

Some examples:
When a person is accused of a crime,

1. It is the obligation of the accuser to prove his case. It is not the obligation of the accused to “prove” his innocence.

2. The accused is provided with the opportunity to face his accuser and to question him.

So in her liberal mind, he’s guilty until proven innocent.

Guilty of what exactly?

I have heard some talking head liberals on TV say it was rape, and/or attempted rape.

But this woman admits no clothes were removed, and the altercation ended before anything of that sort could occur.

This crap is absurd, but, with some wavering Republicans, we have been compelled to attend to this circus, and it’s not over yet.

If the GOP had a bigger majority in the Senate, we would still have the votes to confirm solidly, in spite of this circus. Just saying.

I think the delays in committee vote, bending over backwards to accomodate Christine Ford in any way, is part of holding soft Republicans such as Flake and Collins and Murkowski in line, so we will have 51 votes to confirm.

So Kavanaugh lets all these fools try to dissect his past and grill him relentlessly and he’s a coward? Really?

If the GOP doesn’t confirm Kavanaugh we may just see a Blue Wave because it will demoralize GOP voter and embolden Dems.
