Restore the Spoils System. It may not have been tidy but at least the clog was flushed occasionally.

Make them cleaners and short order cooks. Don’t lower their salary but make them scrub toilets and pump out septic tanks. If they perform poorly write them up.

My Father a manager in the DOD R&D offices. They were assigned a secretary who was a total slacker. It took 18 months to get her transferred to the Labor Department.

Not true they can be fired!

I personally know of several cases.

The problem is it very hard. A supervisor must be determined to do it, be persistent & must document their ass off! Needless to say it’s very hard, most supervisors don’t want to take the time or trouble. If the problem can be solved by moving the employee elsewhere that’s what is done. Path of least resistance!

The problem with this guy is what are you firing him for? His political beliefs? Just being a commie isn’t a termination offense any more. It hasn’t been since the 1970s. Those people used to be weeded out to some extent by loyalty oaths. You’d have to catch him in the act of sabotaging policy & have documented 9 ways to Sunday! Him just flapping his gums & sounding like a macho revolutionary isn’t enough! In the 1991 Gulf War there was a Treasury employee with a clearance (or so I was told regarding the clearance!) who went Iraq with those other peace-niks to stand with Saddam and be voluntary hostages (Quakers I think!). I Sm pretty sure he got his job back.

All the examples start with “Obama” .... it’s not impossible to fire Federal employees .... Obama didn’t want to fire the employees in the examples given.

The guy being interviewed is a low level civil servant. I’ve worked with all sorts of whack jobs who were civil servant employees. Doesn’t mean they’re deep state. Means they think they’re more important than they are

That just shows Zero’s malfeasance.

Faked credentials discovered before going to court got one woman I knew of when the defense pointed out that lie.

And this woman was a ball-buster going after the prey.

Thank you for referencing that article grundle. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

"“It’s impossible to fire federal employees.” Here are 20 real world examples."

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

President Reagan fired striking air-traffic controllers on the spot for example.

Reagan fires 11,359 air-traffic controllers

The problem is that the evil uniparty has tricked the states into ignoring the 12th Amendment (12A) procedure for electing a president. Ignoring 12A makes it easier for enemies of the USA to trick voters into abusing their voting power by electing people like lawless Obama to Oval Office.

The question is, while it was relatively easy for disgruntled patriots to clean up Oval Office, evidenced by Pres. Trump, how many elections will it take for patriots to clean up swamp Congress?

You CAN fire a Federal Employee. The problem is, it takes WORK to do so, and their SUPERVISORS are as lazy as their subordinates, or totally corrupt and complicit like Sessions and Rosenswine.

Don't conflate Obama’s refusal to fire unruly federal employees with the right to fire unruly federal employees.

Reagan fired a boatload of air traffic controllers back in the eighties and he was right to do so.
My father, who was a mail carrier AND a union delegate, said that all federal employees have to abide by “binding arbitration” in their contract negotiations and cannot go on strike like non federal employees. Failure to do so means they can be fired.

So Reagan did.

This proves nothing— a bunch of people Obama “should have fired?” How about a list of federal employees who WERE fired?

If they can’t immediately fire this pecksniff, he should be permanently rubber roomed. No phone, no PC, no wifi, no personal electronics allowed. Just give him a box of buttons to sort into colors. Dump them all back into the box at the end of the day and have him do it again tomorrow.

Down in the worker-bee world, it’s possible but tough and drawn-out...I managed to get rid of 2 while working as a DOD Civilian....of course, I had 24 years active duty before that so I had the sensibilities and the drive to get rid of scum. One took almost 9 months and the other was out in 6 months.
