During their final days of access to FBI files and computers Andrew McCabe and Peter Strzok — before losing their jobs — each allegedly tried to destroy evidence and documents, per well-placed FBI and DOJ sources.
But they were nabbed by a sting operation.
Two of the supposed brightest minds who served the FBI — and led the country’s Intel apparatus — each separately set out to allegedly destroy incriminating evidence before their departures from the Bureau. And neither one had any clue they were being watched.
But FBI Director Christopher Wray had suspected as much and — working with personnel from the Inspector General’s office — set up a sting-like operation to prevent against evidence destruction, both documents and electronic, two FBI sources confirm.

FR has become awash with overestimated rumors from clickbait websites and overvalued conspiratorial blogs.
Don't get emotional at those of us who have recognized this practice.

It's good for their side if they are making up a story about how the DOJ (Rosenstein and Sessions) is doing its job.
If Rosenstein and Sessions are Deep State firewalls, then the Deep State would want them to be kept in place and not fired by Trump after the election.
Note that Media Matters and Buzzfeed are the two leading hit piece executors against True Pundit, both clearly documented as frauds.
As to the veracity of True Pundit site pests, consider the company above they align with or work with.

Really? Is that what he claims now? Was his NYPD tenure before or after his arrest by the FBI and federal conviction for piracy? Or before or after his career as an internet domain squatter?

Of course, everything that Fake Pundit actually reported in his original story turned out not to be true. There was no secret NYPD investigation into the Clintons, no child pornography on the laptop, no evidence linking the Clintons to sex crimes, etc.
He is just trying to spin this into some kind of confirmation of his blatantly false story.

That may be true, but in this case, Fake Pundit himself admitted that they correctly discovered his identity, and the information they reported about him is all publicly available on the internet, so there isn’t much point in denying it.

I get what you’re saying and really wish I knew the answers. One thing for sure though, if Rosenstein signed one of the fisas (pretty sure he did) that sob should recuse himself.

Oops, except that TruePundit himself admitted it is all true. So what does the source matter if the facts are true?

That may be what he claimed, but people don’t get federal convictions for selling non-copyrighted materials, so I wouldn’t put much stock in that story.

He is a federal felon, as he himself admitted. Does that sound like someone who actually has a law enforcement background, or someone who consults for the federal government, as he claims (with no verification at all)?

Actually they did, but I guess you didn’t bother to read the article.

Yep, I guess it reveals that I actually read other sources outside the echo chamber and am willing to admit when they sometimes publish accurate information, as they did in this case. It does happen from time to time, you know.
The fact is, if Buzzfeed’s info was wrong (and Buzzfeed didn’t even do most of the investigating, they just reported on what someone else dug up, btw), FakePundit could have just revealed the truth and embarrassed them, but instead, he was forced to admit the facts of their story were true. Besides that, he still refuses to give any real documentation about himself to verify any of the many claims he makes about his background, but, given his track record for BS, I think we can safely assume it’s all heavily embellished.

More than likely a jacked up charge to try and shut him up about something. We see these tactics used all the time when people try to expose the truth about these criminals running the country.
Cooperating is good but rather meaningless without consequences. I'll get excited if and when that happens. Until then, this is just process noise.

Maybe they knew what they were up to and left them in their jobs for a reason. It may be it is taking so long to bring charges because they are still committing crimes that are being recorded.
Shouldn’t be a mystery. People have opinions and value them based upon demonstrative experience, not some following. Pundits are, in general, a dime a dozen.
We aren’t building up Gitmo for nothing.
Sen. Graham didn’t quiz Kavanaugh about treason and military tribunals for nothing.
The Left isn’t throwing up a phony accusation at Kavanaugh for nothing. And it isn’t about abortion like Rush seems to think. It’s about keeping their(Democrats, etc) sorry asses out of prison.
