Maybe the Russians should get the hell out of Syria as they should not have been there in the first place. But, what do I know. The Russians are there at the invitation of the official Syrian government, which is more than the Israelis, Turks, and Americans can say.

What drives Syria is Saudi Arabia’s money and power that fueled the Al Qaeda jihadists fighting the Asaad regime and drew the Russians in at Syria’s request.
The Russians have helped to stop the head choppers atrocities against Christians and others in Syria.

The Russians are invited into Syria by its government. Israel and the US are not.

Russia has made Syria it's little brother since about 1940. Russia has billions of dollars in business there and a naval base they pay Syria for at Tartus.
Russia has much more of a right to be in Syria than any other country.
