The EC is working perfectly. Instead of getting rid of it we need to nix the 16th and 17th amendments and honor the 10th .... throwing federal progressivism on the ash heap where it belongs.

Agree. The only institutions not yet soiled by the rats are federal, the Electoral College and Convention of States.
They are working hard on the EC through the National Popular Vote, to which several states have signed.
The return to Free Government is impossible without 17A repeal.
