I have family living near Hazard and have memories of that gritty coal town going back a half century, back when the only roads were narrow twisting routes that wound their way up and down the mountains. “Coal is king” and the area has suffered from the closing of coal-firing plants, thanks to Obama.

I’ve been to Hazard. I tried to go to school in Jackson. And that’s all I’m going to say about that.
