Met with and worked to fund and equip the radical opposition forces mobilizing to topple Syria’s Assad, actually sitting at table with ISIS head Bagdaddy.
Hundreds of thousands of dead and exiled later, we remember his contribution.
I am disappointed that Blackmon thinks identifying McCain’s character accurately is childish.
I hate to speak ill of a dead man , but this guy has inflicted so much damage within our own camp, it disturbs me.
McCain was the token that the media and the GOPe colluded with to offer up so that Obama could take the WHite House.
His legacy is that of the tool that allowed a non-citizen to move America sharply towards the socialist cliff.
Why else are Democrats and socialists praising him so much?
That’s like saying Benedict Arnold’s legacy is complicated.
Sorry Dave, you can take the high road on McCain, not me. I can appreciate anyone who has served this country, but I am not compelled to vote for them. McCain was a petty, vindictive weasel right up to the end. He could have passed the Trump healthcare bill and gut Obamacare, but Nooooooooooo, he got all stompy feet.
Re: 3
Good points. He ran his re-election in large part on repeal of Obamacare and then bailed when the cricual votes were held.
Whens the last time he was in Washington, D.C? December? All this time, Arizonans were deprived of Senate representation on many issues.
He was a spoiled rotten traitor brat! The media will always push him as something he certainly was not. He and Charles Keating are together once again!!
I am reminded of Dumas’s Count of Monte Cristo... “It’s Complicated”

Bye Bye Ferdinand...
No mention of how McCain forwarded the Fusion GPS dossier to the FBI?
You forgot that the abandoned his first wife, who waited for him to come home from Vietnam, after she suffered a horrific accident and was disfigured. He was mean and vain to her.
Vindictive even in the Valley of the Shadow. THAT’S anger. THAT’S rage. THAT’S blindNess. McCain, a warning of what not to be.
I remember #1. It was a stab in the back.
Good article.
How complicated is the issue of HIS FELLOW POW’S he made sure would NEVER get home again??
I voted for him and can’t get the stink off
If it was for his father, grandfather etc, he'd be an unknown.
Nevertheless, I wish to pay my respects to his family at a sad time in their lives.
