There was a pundit who said that with fracking we do not need Turkey anymore for pipelines and that Trump was letting Putin now manage this mess there and in Syria for that reason while Putin is buying US tech for its own fracking needs.

Basically there supposedly a new oil paradign going on and Trump is adapting to it
