The world would be a much better place if everyone thought like this. This young man was focused on saving a woman who had a baby in the house, not on black and white or other political issues. He very well may have saved her life and made her and her baby's future much better. And, of course, the point of the article is right on target -- guns are very useful if used responsibly. If this young man didn't have a gun, he would have gotten injured trying to help her because he'd have to physically get between her and the dog.

A dog attacked an American woman. An American man, her neighbor, shot the dog. The woman was treated in an American hospital. Police are talking to the American owner of the dog.
