Gee, Ya think?
Today, one of our foremost “allies”, Saudi Barbaria, crucified a man in Mecca. This continued alliance with the psycho barbarians does not put us in a good light.
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
Some of us are actually drafted. We’re in situations we didn’t want to be in, from a civilian point of view. Situations that stink, while something seems to stand guarding every doorway back to a civilian life.
Just don’t be like the guy I was in service with that got all the goodies , then declared he was a conscience’s objector.
We made him take the jobs we did not want, and held his feet to the fire.
I wake up fighting and go to sleep praying, except when I’m drunk or sideways with the world.
Most days the world is sideways with me and its OK, I can wait.
Presume you mean Saudi Arabia.
This was troublesome even during more “civilian” days, but we held our noses and shook hands because these people were standing up to others that were giving us and Israel even worse trouble.
Whatever the answer is, being a whiny nag about generic “human rights” doesn’t seem to be it. I can’t imagine right now what it would be. We don’t govern the place. If we left it alone, it’d shortly get much worse.
The teeth-gnashing hatred aimed at all of the things and people of God should open eyes as to the nature of the war. Sadly, there are a lot of blind folks alive today.
I can’t CO out of this one. I got yeehaw in my guts.
Well in fact, it is a huge honkin’ clue.
However, we don’t necessarily go fighting the evidence. That’s a spiritual decoy and maybe an ambush too.
Amen, in for the long war.
“We should try to minimize friendly fire, shooting at our fellow soldiers, being unthinking instruments of the devil.”
Says the same guy who pulls the trigger on Christian FReepers and then trolls them with half a dozen responses to the same post? Really....???
I actually went to a Salvation Army corps for several weeks, before heading to a nearby Baptist church (to get the communion and then to become a choir singer — my musical side was pretty much ignored at SA except for one initial essay at the piano, which I did well, but for some reason they didn’t care to repeat it).
While at the Salvation Army corps, I commented that every church really ought to be a small-s, small-a salvation army.
I think I am a spiritually foresighted person, smelling out these battle clouds before many others see them. The ongoing war isn’t new. Its present degree of heat IS new, and many things are changing, and we got to shed that civilian garb and don the military garb.
As if grudge holding and self-righteousness flaunting rather than learning was the goal?
How about you man up and admit you’re in the wrong when you comport yourself that way?
Ain’t that in the past, under the blood? If you disagree, get out of this company.
Naw, We a smoking them out.
I think Satan “awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve” when he foisted “gay marriage” on the USA.
That was Pyrrhic. A lot of people who were nominal Christ sympathizers finally agreed the ramifications began to stink. The Holy Spirit heard.
You leave doubt in your essay. Satan can’t win since he has alresdy heen defeated. In fact he is the only one, by name, that has already been sentenced to death.
