It’s pretty misleading to put in quotes something that Trump is not quoted as saying and that isn’t necessarily true.
WTF is wrong with these people. They think Ivanka is not allowed to have an opinion that differs from her father’s.

The things she has been doing and saying since inauguration day are more than simply a difference of opinion.
Were you aware she was on the phone to various members of Congress not 24 hours after the votes were counted to push some of her pet projects?
She has considerable influence in and outside of the White House. And, in case you had not noticed, her worldview is at odds with returning America to the land of the free; the home of the brave.

Well she doesn’t seem to have as much influence as you seem to think. I mean her fathers policies are about turning America back the land of the free so I fail to see why caring about her opinions should be so important. She has her own opinions, and to be honest, I’m not convinced that her opinions are very influential at all. I think you’re overstating it. Most people could not care a less what Ivanka’s opinions are. She has no real power to do anything in the admin, and if one is to believe Page 6 and other societal gossip rags, it seems that most of Ivanka’s society friends are friends no more, her fashion business seems to have crumbled so it would seem she has not much influence in society circles or in business anymore. Let Ivanka have her own opinions, I very much doubt the American people will ever dump her father for her. Her having opinions at odds with her father is really of no importance.
Well, I disagree.
By the President’s own admission, the family leave part of the tax bill was Ivanka’s idea. She also got the taxpayer to pony up %50 million dollars to the world bank for women’s entrepreneurship.
There is more but that alone should put to rest Ivanka has no material influence on policy.
