One way to look at it. In an earlier thread about vandalism to Education Secretary Betsy DeVos’ yacht, the usual “no one needs a yacht” comments were answered by how many people work in that industry.

As a former Yacht builder at Stephens Bros. in Stockton Ca, I would agree that the industry produces employment.
