An employee. was shot.
I was directed toi a police tank on the way out. HUNDREDS OF LAPD. Hundreds of fire fighters. Scores off paramedics.
So glad you are safe.
Then I looked over and there was a big black guy hold a gun covered with blood.
Praying for you. I can’t imagine how you will sleep tonight. Wish I could help. What a blessing he was stopped and you are out of there alive.

The black gunman was acting crazy and erratic .... then, he told the police on the phone while we were sitting in front of them that he would kill us one by one.
Can you still get into your house, car, etc without those keys? Are you safe?

The police just dropped me off. My car, in TJ’s Parkin g lot is in the crime scene .... my keys which scared the gunman are still in TJ’s. An d my groceries are still sitting at checkout!
Any regrets about not carrying concealed?

Bizarre, yes, and probably extremely frightening.
The closest I’ve been was when I was in a KFC waiting to order, with some other women in line, when a homeless and belligerent guy came in off Ventura Blvd, threatening all of us women and swearing and acting violent. The employees did NOTHING and I was measuring to see if I could jump over that counter into the kitchen. Finally a young African American man got up from his table and got the guy to step outside. He may have saved us from some kind of attack.
One female TJ employee got caught in the cross fire and sj=he was not a hostage. The LAPD police tank was involved in that “I believe.
Perhaps you should set that aside for another day, and simply take care of yourself for now. You’ve been through a lot and need to try and rest.
