On July 10, Kanye West shared a photo on Twitter portraying a Chicago Bulls jersey signed by Dennis Rodman. In the tweet, West proclaimed that Rodman is “one of my biggest inspirations…always breaking barriers with independent thought.” The NBA star expressed his gratitude to ‘Ye in a recent interview with US Weekly and also told the publication that he plans to invite the rapper to North Korea.

“Kanye, he’s doing amazing work around the world so I respect him too,” he told Us Weekly. “So hopefully one day we’ll get together and collaborate on certain things. Guess what, I’ll take Kanye West to North Korea with me.” The former power forward aims to collaborate on “certain things” with West and even welcomes the idea of a partnered album surrounding the possible trip. “If he wants to make an album about that he’ll be there for like six to seven days, and he’ll [sic] see what’s going on. Now, go make a song about this. So here you go.”

Rodman has built somewhat of a strong friendship with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un. In the past, he visited the country and even paid a visit to Singapore for Kim Jong-Un and Donald Trump’s summit this past June.

Stay tuned for updates and let us know your thoughts.

Why? Wouldn’t this have tremendous potential to move more black Americans to back Trump and further improve relations w NK?

I am for it. And as a half-Korean I still want a unified Korea firmly in US corner in a “sphere of influence” sense even without our troops on the border. Bring it all. Bring the churches...bring the Kardashians...McDonalds...freedom!

Kayne may not be as influential as the industry likes to say he is. Everyone who will ever be famous has their particular period to shine. Eminem used to be double-huge ten years ago, now he can’t even get an American President to return his tweets or phone calls, so what if he insults the president with every tweet.

Kayne’s double-huge time as a mover and shaker may have already passed. Many teens today see him as ‘Somebody my Mom or Grandad used to listen to.” Now, he is famous for once having been famous. It happens to the great ones too, even Paul McCartney. The market changes all the time.
In the early 60’s, I used to feel that way about certain acts from the 40’s and 50’s, The Mills Brothers for instance. I had no use for Ella Fitzgerald until I became much older. My focus was elsewhere.

If West will bring along his wife and encourage her to be ‘very friendly’ to Little Kim the Rocket Man there might be some dramatic activity in a couple of aspects.

As long as Kanye’s autotune plug works in North Korea’s electrical sockets I see no problem.

I a52 years old and years I looked down Dennis rodman because he chose to befriend the dictator Kim. I am ashamed of my self because I did not understand that what Denis roadman was giving a hand to a man that was drowning spiritually. I look back at interviews that Dennis Rodman did about his friendship with kim and I never heard him defend the undefendable that was happening in Korea. with Denis rodman it was always about the need for there to be a dialog... I don’t doubt that Kim is responsible for a lot of evil but if you want to help the people of Korea you have to help the leader but not enable the man to do more evil. the hope is that by showing some kindness maybe you can change the man.

I believe that Kannya west and Dennis rodman going to Korea together is good. Dennis Rodman knows how to put his faith and beliefs into action and that is something that Kannya needs to learn.

Yes it would. And the media would be forced to cover the story... It would be a big win.

His latest album was at the top of the Billboard charts, so that suggests Kanye is still on this game.
