This is good news for those who believe Tennessee's senate seat that Bob Corker is currently defiling. Marsha Blackburn poll numbers from the commissioned by the Committee to Defend the President, which plans to spend heavily in an effort to help Blackburn found 38 percent of those surveyed supported the Republican congressman while 35 percent favored Bredesen.
It continues to narrow from her high lead of 9 In a December poll but given Tennessee's history of narrow elections, this is to be expected. Barring the unforeseen, this is good news for Marasha, President Trump and the Senate increasing it's GOP majority.

Because I cannot post directly from the source, The Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle and it's source, the Nashville Tennessee, I must paraphrase what I gleaned from an article I read today. Pardon me if I get some procedures wrong. This is my first private post. I see this as very good news despite the Tn. GOP-E sitting on the fence, refusing to help Marasha and strongly hinting they will support Bredesen in the General. Hope they get burned(no pun) when Blackburn beats the tipid Bredesen.

Oh in the name of all thats holy, people, we have got to support Marsha. She has been 100% behind President Trump right from the jump. She is a solid conservative. We need her desperately.

I’m surprised it’s even close. The ex-gov is 75 and doesn’t have much chance of being in the majority if he should win. Grandfather is a better title at 75 but he just may not be into it. Could be that Tennessee is just not conservative. You look at Bill First, that joke of the other Senator and how Harold Ford came close it leads one to the conclusion that Blackburn winning would move the needle much further than in the past. She’ll get my $100 this time around. It usually goes to turnover possibilities that have a good chance of winning.

All Marsha has to do is put out an ad that she will support Trump and Bredesen will support Schumer who opposes EVERYTHING Trump says, does, and wants.

All she needs to do is go on TC and say so [that she’s a Trump supporter], and she’ll win

Bush League Republicans still control most state GOP.
They will help the Democrat win anytime we nominate someone who sides with the citizens and the rule of law.
They have done it repeatedly.
Alexander is up in 2020.
He needs to be Cantorized and replaced with a patriot.

Corker not supporting her.

I can't understand why she is in a battle for this at all - she represents Tennessee values, has a solid voting record, and has been scandal-free. And she's even got eye appeal.
What the heck is up with Tennessee voters?

The exactly the story I was paraphrasing but FR denied me from posting from the Leaf-Chronicle version.

But thanks for doing what I failed, map.

Here in the Knoxville area hear that Bredesen has a huge lead over Blackburn. I never, ever believed it. Jus watching Bredesen in his TV ads makes my flesh crawl. He oozes sleaze.

If Bredesen wanted to do something for Tennessee, he would switch Parties. He could be the next coming of Corker.

Could be that Tennessee is just not conservative.
Like many other states, it's all about turnout. Candidates talk a hardline that Tennesseans love but once they get to DC, they turn into "swamp monsters". However the Democrats we send every once in a while know they must remain moderate or conservative Blue dogs or they get bounced. Gore was not the flame thrower he became one he was vice president and Tennesseans turned on him in his presidential election bid.
East Tennessee, the GOP stronghold has a history of nomination(and winning) with squishy candidates.
Think Howard Baker, the aforementioned Frist and the current Corker and Alexander, all from East Tennessee.
West Tennessee is just pure Democrat and middle Tennessee is a battleground with Nashville giving the Dims a solid base but the surrounding "suburbs tending GOP.
My area, between Fort Campbell and Clarksville is just as solid GOP with a few stinkers slipping through.
Thanks to Fort Campbell we tend to very conservative AND we are diverse. Very diverse. Yet these "POC" are just as hardline conservative as any stereotypical 'white, middle age, middle cast WASP that the media derides.
It will be close but Marasha has this one and we will be very happy(if she continue her conservative voting pattern.)

I’m surprised that I haven’t seen a single Marsha commercial yet I have seen many Bredesen’s swishyads.
Her money is just starting to roll in a the fence sitters’ are realizing Marasha has a better than even change of winning, (no third party candidate to split the conservative vote, as so many election cycles happen in Tennessee.)

Corker not supporting her.Not surprising considering he's being kicked to the curb in favor of a real conservative. Marsha will be great for Tennessee.
To: Lurkinanloomin
Many have grown tired of Alexander and while he is not as bad as Corker, he knows his time is up if the GOP finds a strong enough challenger.
