Roseanne Barr is already plotting her comeback after a racist tweet comparing Barack Obama senior advisor and businesswoman Valerie Jarrett to a monkey got her booted off the air.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Barr is claiming she’s already had booking offers and one may be in the works.
Speaking on Rabbi Shmuley Boteach’s podcast, Barr hinted at a return to the small screen.
“I’ve already been offered so many things, and I almost already accepted one really good offer to go back on TV and I might do it. But we’ll see,” she said.
ABC is currently working on a spinoff of "Roseanne", "The Conners", that will not feature Barr’s character, instead focusing on the rest of the cast.
WIBC host Tony Katz, while highly critical of Barr's social media slip-up, noted the Hollywood double-standard, pointing out the left's reaction to Barr's tweet versus that of actor Peter Fonda:

I expected this from the start. Roseanne is a real talent, and she has a lot more to give as an entertainer.
Once again, this is her time.
Her former network will be regretting their hasty act of cowardice. I would not put it past Roseanne to feature a
Valerie Jarrett lookalike (if one exists) on one of her first shows. She KNOWS this will be on everybody’ mind. Might as well exploit it for some eyeballs.
In some ways Roseanne is a modern day, female version of Mel Brooks. Remember Mel liked to shock too.

If she had a contract, she needs to sue them for firing her. She did nothing wrong. I hope she does.
First of all, she has a 1st amendment right which was taken from her. Secondly, she didn’t even know VJ was black (neither did I). So, following Comey’s exoneration of Hillary, there was no INTENT to be racist.
Don't hitch your wagon to crazy.
If you want to support her, do it from a safe distance.

Roseanne gave all rights to her creation away, no charge. She is a great comic with real talent, I hope she comes up with another character and hope her show is a roaring success
calling Roseanne bar a racist is probably the worst thing you can say to her. her youngest boy the one she had right before the original show was canceled is black and a adult now. I don’t think she is going to revisit the Valery Jaret comment in comedy because I believe it is just painful that it happen. not because she cares about offending anyone but because I am sure fo5r the last month when she spoke to or saw her son she flashed in her mind to what she said.

Also, the apes in Planet of the Apes are quite intelligent. They are not really apes, they are more like unattractive humans.

She just made a dumb mistake that might have annoyed Valerie Jarrett, but that was it. Beyond ValJar herself, the only people offended were people who wanted to be offended.

Show me where she did that! Planet of the Apes was a movie with fictitious characters. No monkey reference in her statement, was there?
That, or this new show she’s alluding to. Wouldn’t it be funny if the new show was Rosanne and they kept all the old characters and ran it against The Connors? THAT I would watch!
I am outraged that someone would compare beautiful simians to that hag Jarrett.
Back when this all started with the mess....I sat there and predicted that she’d end up with a Roseanne show, where she’d ‘died’, gone to heaven, and God remarked that it just wasn’t her time....sending back to be some house-mother over five black kids. Each time she’d look in the mirror, she’d look like a black woman, and then she’d keep going back to some joke of Valarie Jarrett.
I think whatever Roseanne does....will be successful and move on. I think the Conner show, will lose about one-third of the viewership by the third episode, and be mostly dragged along for two years by the network as some anti-Trump show against voters in the mid-west. By the mid-point of the second season....it’ll have only forty-percent of the normal viewers watching.
It’s real simple:
Obama and ValJar are monkeys because that’s how they behave.
Justice Clarence Thomas and Dr. Ben Carson are gentlemen of color and great Americans because that’s how THEY behave.
If you act like you’re civilized, you are civilized. If you act like a barbarian, that’s what you are. The DemonRATs can take their identity politics and choke on them.

Unfortunaetly the Hot middle daughter Molly Ephraim isn’t coming back, that would be a shock if Rosanne Replaced her
Time will tell if Barr returns with a neutered bland anyshow, or she pokes their eye again. The Left will take it as a tactical win if the former is the case.
