Never compromise. Ever. You’re suggesting letting them take (at least some) of what was never theirs, and being thankful they didn’t take it all.
Yeah...with that approach there wouldn't BE a USA. That's a puerile and childish view of the world: Keep walking in a straight line and when they blow off your head, die a noble death knowing you never gave in.

I'm not at all suggesting letting them take (at least some) of what was never theirs. I'm suggesting they already have it and we need to adopt a smarter strategy to take it all back and then some.
