They started embracing Socialism, not Communism, because they believe it to be good (claiming Christ was a socialist), when the schools started indoctrinating them to believe America & capitalism were evil. It started slowly in the 60’s, and got progressively more bold and open with the indoctrination process with each new generation. Most parents didn’t complain because they had been taught that the country wasn’t perfect. What was left out though, is that even with its shortcomings it still was the best nation on the face of the earth.
