They started embracing Socialism, not Communism, because they believe it to be good (claiming Christ was a socialist), when the schools started indoctrinating them to believe America & capitalism were evil.

Ironically they recently surveyed a bunch of countries to determine the ones where the population was the most Pro-Capitalist. The Top Country: Vietnam.
