Well...to each his own.
Like most Americans, I couldnt possibly care less. I could not name a single player on the US national team if you held a gun to my head.
But I think Ill try watching the World Cup this way
It’s hard to be excited when your team is out. Shoot, Italy isn’t in and yeah that makes it a less attractive tournament.
But it’s the World Cup and it takes on a life of its own. Nothing is bigger on planet earth.
If I watch at all, I will be watching with hugh amounts of caffeine just to stay awake. In all series, I can’t get into any sport where a draw is rewarded and often viewed as some sort strategical victory. I would like to see a rule that punishes both teams for a draw by requiring them to play the first half of the next match with only ten players.
Why is he so close to the targets?........................
CQC training...
The best part of soccer to watch is after a European game, the fans brawl in the streets...The brawls are the most exciting thing that happens...
“Yes. I like your way.
But I think Ill try watching the World Cup this way”
Waaaaaiiiiiiit a minute......
Southpaws aren’t supposed to handle pistols that well...
wink wink...nudge nudge...
Looks like a great way to watch soccer!

After seeing the unis the US wore against France this weekend, I’m glad they’re out.
Homo shit?
Yep, rainbow for their numbers on the back...Sickening.
They brawl before the game. The groups text each other to agree on a meeting point, it’s a big adrenaline rush for them.
I don’t get this notion that a draw is a reward, it’s dropping two points essentially. It now takes three draws to equal one win.
You should have an issue with the NFL and NHL which award overtime wins the same as a regulation win. Ditto for College Football, they should go to a points system where a Regulation Win counts more than an overtime win.
Before, during, after...It’s still the most exciting part...
Remember 20 years ago when the poofters said they just didn’t want to attacked and ostracized?
And here’s Vlad....
I too am not a fan but I was in Costa Rica when their team was playing in some international tournament. CR scored a goal and the whole neighborhood started cheering, car horns honking, it was like New Year’s Eve at midnight.
Why? A win is a win. Who cares if its earned in overtime? Langworthys walk off homer against Auburn in extra innings the other night was just as sweet as any win in 9 innings.
It’s a little different in baseball in that it’s not a time-based game.
