Have not been to Graf in decades. Would have thought it all grown up with homes/businesses. Guess it is one of few areas still operated by US Army.
Along A9 and A6, there’s probably some build-up, particularly as you get closer to Bayreuth and Nuremberg. But the region is still ‘out in the sticks’. I went down toward Amberg last year to some quiet wellness hotel. Once you got five km off the autobahn...it’s just woods and small villages.
