Was it a different card number, or the same?

If I remember correctly it was a new number, new expiry and new 3-digit security code. Several years back I also fell for the constant Lifelock ads and signed up for a year. Almost immediately my credit card was charged 35,000 Thai baht at a Southeast Asian computer store! Until Lifelock, I’d never had any trouble at all with my credit card. I cancelled at the first opportunity and requested a new card from my bank (Chase). I know it’s fashionable to badmouth “banksters,” but I’ve had nothing but excellent service (and account security) from Chase.
