**There is a verse missing. This is the definitive verse on the Trinity, and it is not in the ESV. 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.**
I’m able to command my body to do things. I’m able to speak orders that are heard by others. And bordering on the supernatural, a human today can do amazing things with something a man has made,..... the ordinary smartphone. I am not three persons.
There is only one that Jesus Christ and the apostles definitively addressed as God: the Father.
That’s why there are no phrases “God the Son” or “God the Holy Ghost” in the scriptures. Rev. 22:19 is applicable in those cases as well.
The Son and the Holy Ghost are “of” God the Father, the only true God.
The Son of God declared that the Father was in him, and that he was in the Father. Where is the Father NOT at?
This verse on the Trinity (God the Three in One) is in the Authorized KJV Bible, which was commissioned by King James in 1604, used continuously for saving souls for many years, taken from the Textus Receptus (Received Texts).
The ESV, along with just about every other non-KJV Bible out there, is missing many, many essential verses upon which Christian doctrine is based. 1 John 5:7 is one such missing verse. There are many more.
