Are you looking for an everyday carry gun?
Maybe you know someone or yourself whos not an avid shooter but is looking to shoot more.
Or, for someone who may have arthritis in their hands, look no further Smith and Wesson has the pistol for you.
One of its main feature is an easy rack slide.
Many shooters across all groups have had issues with racking a slide.
Another one is the load assist magazines, which makes it easy and no brainer to load your ammunition.
Other features are Grip safety, Ambi mag release & thumb safety, standard 3 dot sights, Loaded Chamber Indcator (check for round in chamber), Forward Picatinny Rail (maybe for a light), weighs 18.5 oz and the overall length is 6.7 inches.
This pistol is design to be EZ to use right out of the box. See the video review of S&W .380 Shield EZ here.
My wife carries this and loves it. My concealed has been the Glock 43 in 9mm, but Im looking at some other options at the moment.
There are some very fine cartridges in .380 available that will enhance the viability of that caliber as a defensive round. The ones I use I think are 95 gr. Talons. I have others that sport trocar points. Very nasty.
My sister-in-law bought one of these and was talking about the laser and I pointed out to her, practice using it without the laser and she said why? I replied if you have to pull the weapon on a hobgoblin he or she is not going to wait for you to run the laser on more than likely. Yeah use it in target practice but practice more not using it.
Get her a S&W model 36 in steel or a Colt Det. Special if you can find one. You get an extra round with the Colt. These are heavier but will absorb the recoil better than the aluminum frame J’s.
I sometimes carry a S&W 642 and the recoil is there but controllable for me. My go to pocket pistol is a Kel-Tec P32 I carry in condition one and in a pocket holster. I carry it 90% of the time.
Mrs. L is quite partial to her (formerly mine) CZ-82. 12 rounds of 9mm Mak in a reliable easy to shoot gun. Less than $200 delivered.

interesting, no retainer but nice rig
the abdo has a pin the barrel slips over to keep it from falling out when open
Agree! I saw the laser as more bulk and weight, just what I didn’t want in a pocket .380. If it’s convenient to carry, a person will carry more often. It’s a good thing!
Throw a Hogue grip on it.
Of course, there are always revolvers.
Saving to ask some questions later.
I like the grip.
It can be conceivable that it is concealable.
Good for you. 7.62x25 is a potent little roynd.

There are some nice aftermarket grip makers for the mak. I prefer the red Half-Life grips myself.

Let me know how you like that pistol.............
You fish?
Heavy..!!
I have a CZ-52,,great gun..but you can’t CC it very well.
