A liberal gal I know hates DJT/Republicans/conservatives - Republicans with guns are objects of fear and loathing to her. She remarked that she was terrified at what was happening to “her” country which is supposed to be a democracy, she said.
I said its a constitutional republic and she replied so I’ve heard. It was obvious that she neither knew what a democracy is nor the difference between that and a constitutional republic.
She hates something she knows nothing about, but styles herself on being ‘aware’ and ‘conscious’ unlike non-liberals like her.
It is a shame that these people are so tied to their hatred and loathing that they cannot or are unable to see what they’ve made themselves into. This particular gal is so consumed that she repeatedly gets herself into extreme stress situations and then unloads her politics on anyone trying to her her, which generally leaves her alone in a still deeper hole.
