Lol, for sure. I think the writer of the article was thinking of the smooth bore musket when he stated “only accurate to 50 ~ 75 yards”. Actually, the Pennsylvania/Kentucky Long rife was accurate out to much greater distances. In fact, during the Revolutionary War our pioneer farmers and frontiersmen, much to the great agrivation of the Brits, would routinely make shots out to 500 yards. The Brits were so put out by this they declared these rifles as unfair and ungentlemanly and that they should be banned 😏....
