Are you into hunting and like going after both the big game and small ones with one or two guns?
If you’re the practical person that would rather spend time on hunting time vs buying a new hunting gun. Have a look at this list.
With the following list you can practically hunt any animal in the world.
This ranges from squirrel to elephants.
One thing to note about the following list.
This list is not the ultimate hunting rifle list.
There will be rifles that wasn’t mentioned or the one that you’re using. By all means let us know below in the comment section.
Another thing is that these rifles are not your specialist type of rifle, they’re just adaptable.
Without further adieu we give you four hunting rifles that can take down any game.

Remington Model 870 12-Gauge Shotgun
Not only is this the iconic home-defense shotgun, but with its 3-inch chamber is also a perfect shotgun for hunting as well.
With its interchangeable choke tubes, you can hunt all different type of birds: doves, quail, grouse, pheasants, duck, turkey, etc.
For the bigger game which requires buckshots you can go after deer and feral hogs at close range.

Ruger 10/22 Rifle
Because its small, lightweight but very reliable, the 10/22 is perfect for smaller game and varmint.
Going with a .22 LR ammo is the least expensive from the bunch.
If you’re looking to keep things quiet on your property while hunting, look into getting subsonic rounds. Read the rest of hunting rifles for taking down any game here.

A Mossberg 500 12 gauge, a Ruger 10/22 and a Springfield 1903 reside in one of my gun cabinets.

I think these are close enough to the weapons listed to do the job(s).

Did the writer not notice that one of the rifles on his list is not a rifle?

Ditto. I don’t have a use for the last rifle because big game hunting in Africa doesn’t interest me.

I used to know a doctor who was an avid big game hunter. He had one gun he believed the best of all. It was a Weatherby .300 magnum.

One for those who like the semi-auto and a slightly faster varmint round, try the Savage A22 in 22 WMR. Rotary mags hold 10, within zero to 3” fall out to 180 yards.

MY 17 WSM shoots circles around it but I’m still keeping my 22 Mag’s.

Ruger used to sell the 10-22 in 22 wmr (winchester magnum etc.) but discontinued it.

In the write-up on the Ruger 10/22, it mentions the advantages of .22 caliber shotgun shells. Those would make me feel like Gulliver.

Good choice, but for a cartridge that's available world-wide I would choose the .375 H&H magnum. One could use it on deer to elephants and everything in between.

Barrel markings are Your Best Friend!

Typically RUGER 10-22 are 22lr. Only.

From .22 LR all the way up to .458 SOCOM, the AR15 platform is the best all around rifle for any North American game animal.

Savage Model 110 in .308. Best out of the box rifle on the market IMO.

The trigger is outstanding.

I kinda figured the .223 was best only because it’s more available. Russian version cost 21 cents a pop. Whatever happened to it. What’s the cheapest ammo online.
