Sadly, Red is right. This was the same situation in Nazi Germany. The government will do the “see something, say something” spiel to get neighbors to turn in neighbors out of fear of prosecution. There’s historical precedent for it.

You're headed for a lot of disappointment and future regret with that attitude. Your neighbors and 'friends' will be the first to rat you out. Trust no one, especially women, who by and large will trade freedom for perceived safety.
