You could see the President’s rage over the bill. IMO he felt the need to sign only to prepare the military for what may be looming on the horizon. I still stand with my President.
He has eyes on way more than we do. I suspect his back was against the wall and the swamp things took advantage. I still back the President and still loath congress, especially “our” side. The scat eaters.

That’s the way I saw it also. Plenty of body language, comments and inferences that signing this bill went against all of his beliefs and instincts. Everything President Trump said today gave strong signals that war is on the horizon. He could have vetoed this crap bill but knows time is not our friend when it comes to getting our military back to wartime readiness.
War with a belligerent nation state is coming and we will most likely be fighting it alone.
