This Wildey Survivor .45 Winchester pistol is a bad ass gun.
In these days of 9mm with high capacity for the CCW, this big gun may not have a chance.
Make no mistake this is not a gun for CCW its built to be worn on the outside.
Which makes this the ideal blaster to carry for the outdoors.
The Wildey is a gas-operated, double-action/single-action pistol designed by Wildey J. Moore. It was designed to fire several high-pressure proprietary cartridges like the .45 Winchester Magnum and .475 Wildey Magnum.
Perfect fit for a bear gun or against muggers.
YouTuber LifeSizePotato goes over this massive caliber pistol with detail explanation.
LifeSizePotato shot a few rounds, with noticable high muzzle flip but had a soft feeling. (video 5:30)
This may be due to the heavy weight (67 ounces) which reduces the recoil.
This Wildey was a favorite for Charles Bronson in the movie Death Wish 3. See the full video review of Wildey Survivor .45 Winchester here.
“We’re waiting for Wildey to get here”.
Looks like the.44 Automag.
Theyre bringing the Automag back, ya know.
“He shot The Giggler !!!”
Best scene in that movie.
The LAR Grizzley was the best 45 Win Mag around.
Perfect Weapon for bears or muggers... also neighbors you dont like that live thee doors down, and you wont have to leave the couch in the living room.
I have both and I beg to differ. The Wildey handles recoil much better. The Grizzly is smaller and lighter but recoil is punishing.

This guy runs a great channel. I put him up there with Forgotten Weapons.
Technically the gun Bronson had in the movie and owned in Death Wish 3 is the Wildey .475 Wildey Magnum 47510 Survivor. I have two Wildey Automags one in .475 and the other is 45 Win Mag.
