It is ironic how a sub group of society complained so much about the oppression they have received turn right around and have become the oppressors themselves. You would think that their struggle was not to get equal treatment but to get power over others for an elite status.

Their struggle IS to get power, not equality. But I’m pretty sure you know that.

People who identify with homosexuality have always been influential in the arts/entertainment: Elton John for example.

And I find Peter Thiel compelling as a business mogul.

But...it’s one thing to be recognized for your talent or acumen, it’s another to simply be rewarded just for “coming out.”

Is Rippon even that great a skater? Is his personality really that charismatic?
