Last week saw another attempt to silence debate and research whose findings diverge from an accepted orthodoxy. In the Advocate, transgender activist Brynn Tannehill decried a 2017 abstract that appeared in the Journal of Adolescent Health, stating that the research into rapid onset gender dysphoria or ROGD was “biased junk science.” The research that Tannehill so strongly objected to was undertaken by Lisa Littman, MD, MPH. Littman surveyed parents about their teen and young adult children who became gender dysphoric and transgender-identified in the context of belonging to a peer group where one, multiple, or even all the friends in a pre-existing peer group became transgender-identified in a similar time frame, an increase in social media use, or both. The findings of the research support the plausibility of social influences contributing to the development of gender dysphoria. The full research paper has not yet been published.
Tannehill subsequently posted the article to the Facebook page of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). A discussion ensued in which some commentators asked WPATH leadership to request that the journal retract the abstract. “So is something being done?” wrote one commentator. “As in are [sic] the Journal being asked to make a statement to retract or apologize for including it?” Psychiatrist and WPATH board member Dan Karasic, MD responded simply. “Yes.” (These comments were deleted from the original thread, but screen caps and a fuller description of what took place can be found here.)

Here is the abstract of the paper in question, "Rapid Onset of Gender Dysphoria in Adolescents and Young Adults: a Descriptive Study" Parents online are observed reporting their children experiencing a rapid onset of gender dysphoria appearing for the first time during or after puberty. They describe this development occurring in the context of being part of a peer group where one, multiple, or even all friends have developed gender dysphoria and come out as transgender during the same timeframe and/or an increase in social media/internet use. The purpose of this study is to document this observation and describe the resulting presentation of gender dysphoria inconsistent with existing research.
This desire to cut off a part of your body doesn’t just apply to your privates. It applies to arms and legs.
People go to SOUTH AMERICA to have arms or legs removed that they dont think belong on them.
It is ILLEGAL to perform that surgery here. Trump needs to move congress to make cutting off your balls ILLEGAL here too.
There is NO difference.
It’s a disease. Doctors treat diseases. They don’t bow to the whim of the mentally ill patient. Or at least aren’t supposed to.
Or many would be on 24 1mg xanax per day if they had their choice.
Why do doctors say no to that? Because it’s dangerous, risky and doesn’t make any sense.

Now there’s evidence that your DNA can change while you’re growing based on the environment you’re living in.
So the positive mom/pop environment gets even more reinforcement as the best model to raise kids.

If the tranny remorse doesn’t get to them first how many of these frozen vegetables will end up with serious life threatening health problems from these procedures? Being pumped up with more testosterone and/or estrogen than their bodies were NATURALLY designed to handle, not to mention the meds used in these procedures have potentially dangerous carcinogenic properties. Josef mengele must be laughing his ass off from the deepest pits of hell. I can, within the next 10-15yrs just see just see them come out with “a very special Lifetime presentation “ “Remembering Jazz “ Johns Hopkins no longer does these procedures for a reason. Medical ethics? Or do they see the writing on the wall? I can envision class actions against the Drs, hospitals, shrinks, etc. filed by these walking train wrecks or their families that’ll make the tobacco and asbestos suits look like child’s play. And the same shysters making the big bucks fighting tooth and nail for transgendered rights will be the same ones making even more $$$$$ filing these suits. What a bleeping racket. Follow the money. Always follow the money.

Same for an adadictome surgery.
As soon as one produces evidence that one’s XY or XX chromosomal pattern changes I’ll pay attention. Until then I’ll go with the Johns Hopkins studies

Notice:: “People I have seen often have a fantasy that transitioning would make them into a “new person,” free of all the old difficulties.” This is the broader vision that motivates socialists, to escape the difficulties and problems of the current world and society via a “revolution” whereby society is totally destroyed, and from which wreckage a new perfect society arises.
The analogy here is stunning and the common factor here is who inspires both, the god of this world, who desperately seeks a way of life that is successful apart from God’s Law, something that is not “sustainable” and therefore impossible
