Splitting a card with a .22 Pistol

Any trick shooter out there?
Have you ever split a playing card with a bullet before?
Youtuber 22Plinkster using a Victory .22 pistol tries out his marksmanship by not just shooting at the playing card but to raise this to another level in top gun.
That is to place a Glock 19 barrel in front of the playing card. Now shoot through the barrel to get to the playing card.

Even though 22Plinkster had to try this shot over 2 times, its still an amazing feat. Thank goodness for video slow-motion technology. See the full trick shot splitting a card with a 22 pistol here.

Fun watching Forged in Fire when they split the bullets with the blades also. So far I don’t think the lead bullets have ever damaged a blade yet. Time to switch it up to a solid cast bronze and really find out how well the blades do IMHO.

“Radar Love” was much better than “Muskrat Love”.

The Glock barrel might help align the bullet to split the card

There are persons who shoot what used to me an Olympic event, running Target, it more correctly running boards that can hot a business card on edge while it’s moving
Jim Finley and his crew can do it with air rifle at 10 meter, and it’s been done on the 50m with a 22lr. Someone needs to go out there with a4k camera and film it in action

Copper and lead will damage steel. But not easily and not a subsonic speed bullet against edge on of a properly hardened blade

I used to have a glass Coke bottle with a perfect 22lr hole in the bottom; my Dad shot it through the neck, at 50 ft. This was back in the 50’s with a Mauser sportster.

My club today frowns on glass at the range.

... So where is the history there ?

Oh, the history channel doesn’t really do that anymore, do they. And after not seeing a reality show for a few months I can say with confidence that ALL reality shows are the same.

I would like a history channel that presented real history, without an agenda. The “History Channel” we do have? I think it was taken over by aliens.

I’m not surprised at the number of MIT alumni on FR, nor am I surprised at how few Harvard drones we have. Even today, MIT (mostly) deals with facts, while Harvard seems less concerned with the truth. There are some blemishes on the recent MIT record, but mostly it’s a data-driven school.

I’m a tool and die maker so metalworking is in my blood, it’s actually a very interesting show to watch.
(Also in my blood literally, I’ve had so much steel shot in me over the years getting an MRI would likely prove fatal)
