The difference is sales tax. I don’t pay any tax on most items I get from Amazon. For the items I do pay tax on, it is only about 2 or 3%. At wallyworld, I pay 7.6% on everything. It adds up quick.
I dunno walmarts search ahs always driven me nuts. You search for instore items and it always returns things that are online order...
Amazon lost a lot of my business when they began collecting tax for items delivered to Alabama. With places like Best Buy meeting Amazons price it is quicker to get what you want and to be able to return it if something is defective. Also, Prime two day delivery has become a joke with half my orders never being delivered within two days. It now gets handed off by UPS or FedEx to the USPS which only guarantees it will either be lost or late. Also, Walmarts Savings Checker Program lets you scan your receipt using your phone or tablet and it automatically checks local stores for lower prices for the items you purchased and placed the funds in account that you can use for online purchases ot request a gift card. I save an average of $2 to $3 every time I go to Walmart with it and it only takes a few seconds to do.
You are cheating your local community while building the Bezos leftist empire. Sometimes doing the right thing Trumps a few dollars.
