This is as bad as a poll tax. If passed the results would impact women, minorities, and the poor the hardest.

I can't help but question the intent of the sponsors of this confiscatory tax proposal.

Poll taxes make a lot of sense, actually. Universal Suffrage in any event is a complete and utter disaster.

Let’s find another analogy to disparage.
