Students at the Parkland, Florida High School were so confused they thought the pop, pop, pop sound came from an active shooter drill. A father reports that a student told him “ they had a fire drill and were supposed to have an active shooter drill.”
A new aspect MSNBC is reporting is new to me. Senator Bill Nelson, Democrat, from Florida said the shooter, Nikolas Cruz, wore a gas mask and used smoke grenades “so the kids would come out in the hallways and thus, he had the opportunity with crowded hallways to start picking off people.”
Student Rebecca Bogart wasn’t sure whether the reports of shooting were a drill at first. The school had a fire drill earlier that day, and she knew it was common to do an active shooter drill. When she saw windows shattered and a bullet near the blinds she finally realized the bullets were real.
It seems to me that these drills are becoming too common to students; therefore, they can not be expected to distinguish between them and reality. I think this is the real problem we have here. Plus the fact that Nikolas Cruz was ignored by authorities, namely the FBI.
The chaos caused by the active shooter drill is remarkably clear now. It turned the students into sitting ducks. They simply were unaware, because these drills were commonplace to them. I think the system needs to understand they are desensitizing students and school staff. It reminds me of the “boy who cried wolf.”

Anti-NRA student spokespersons are on air almost immediately?
Reports of multiple shooters?
A report from a student that she was talking to Cruz as the shooting was happening?
Nikolas Cruz arrested at a fast food place, calmly eating lunch after the shooting?
Maybe I'm just stupid but none of this makes sense if I'm to assume that things happened just as the authorities say they did.
How were the active shooter drills conducted?
Did someone actually dress as a shooter with mask?
Is this what the Sheriff is covering up?

Is it true that smokers were thrown down the halls? What psycho killer wants to remain anonymous? Like those idiots that shot up the theater in CO, most of these nuts are gaining revenge and want their victims to know it. I say conspiracy!
Smoke hides the targets. What kind of mass shooter provides concealment for his victims?

If you view the whole thing from the perspective of the lawyers repping the county’s insurer, everything makes a lot more sense. ‘Scheduled drill’ removes culpability of officers due to ‘understandable confusion’.
Smoke conceals just as well on a stairwell.
Drills are great camouflage for false flags.
The real LEOs can’t tell who is part of the drill and who is a real perp.

No reason why it can't be announced on the PA 10 minutes before it occurs.
Kids should also be allowed to think on their own during these drills. If I see a nearer exit, damn right I'm gonna take it.
One thing unusual about this one is the perp is still ALIVE.
Teachers reporting they thought it was the scheduled code red drill and the shooter was in full metal gear and face shield like a cop.
Not wise to arrest a kid out in public who's casually eating a mile away from the scene. He was placed on suicide watch so who knows how long he'll stay alive.

Then it should be REAL easy to come up w/ the memo/schedule of such, no? Else, we’re talking fraud, obstruction, collusion, conspiracy, etc. to attempt to CYA, which would open MORE cans ‘o worms....

Yet we're told that the SRO who cowered in fear id'd the shooter and called in a description, including that he was wearing blue pants and a red shirt.
