Since Netanyahu has been near or at the top of the Israeli political pyramid for more than three decades, wouldn't he qualify as the deep state?
Netanyahu, even though a politician (and distinguished combat veteran like his late brother) is as much an upstart outsider to the Israeli left as Donald Trump is to the Deep State.
The two of course have a natural affinity. Now, the American Embassy in Jerusalem will officially open on May 14, 2018 which is the anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel in 1948. This IS the moment of truth both leaders have striven for. The world’s response will inform friends of the U.S. and Israel of exactly where the two nations stand against the wicked forces arrayed against them both.
And in that conflict, none of us are mere observers but each a soldier in the war of good versus evil. If every Swiss citizen has a military rifle in his house, then so should we all.

Israel is much different than the USA. the term deep state is intended to describe a "fifth Column" element within a government attempting to change the consitution through hope and change and manipulation of Useful Idiots to implement the socialist new world order of tyranny under the disquise of liberal idealism,
