Brass is easier to find for the mini-14 if you’re a handloader. The obvious solution is to have both. But don’t try to explain it to your wife.

Brass is easier to find for the mini-14 if youre a handloader. The Mini-14 shoots .223/5.56. How is it easier to find? Does the Mini-14 not sling the brass as far as an AR does?

If you’re a handloader, you should be able to clip a turn off of the ejector spring to keep brass from flying too far. (From hearing ohers tell it. I’m afraid of guns)
