Ditto. Haven't watched any TV news programming since Obama was elected the first time.

A new event of some kind will push this off front pages or the kids will go back to being kids. Earthquake, Russia investigation, death of major figure or plane crash. .
Don’t watch or listen.
The end result they want, confiscation, is unattainable without serious unrest.

Well, stop watching the TV coverage then. I simply dont. The only time I watch Tv or my pc is when I watch my shows—no news. My news I get on FR or Drudge.

It won’t end that way. In time, it will be like the civil rights movement (which had a moral basis) and take over not on a moral basis, but an emotional one - and we’ll do what Australia did.
Trump is a 4 - 8 year parenthesis in the internal takeover of our nation by Marxist/atheists who through their control of the whole educational system continue to brainwash the vast majority of youth.
Soon they will be in control - absolute control of the federal government. By 2024 at the latest.
The only unpredictable is what the majority of gun owners will do when the government edict comes to surrender all your weapons - and what Law Enforcement will do.
It will likely be civil war - a majority of gun owners and Law Enforcement will not go along. Big cities and liberal states? All guns will be illegal. Red cities? The masses will resist. And fight.

I'm 70 years old, retired and own a cattle farm. For the last week, I have been digging a trench for a French drain next to my pole barn, so heavy rains don't run water into my dry hay barn.
It's tiring work and when I come in in the evening, I do not want the drama of cable news TV. I watch an old movie or some educational type program.
I do not miss the TV news at all. Not at all.
I read the posts on FR and I am as informed as I need to be to know what's up in the country and the world. Watching cable TV news gives me none of that.
